O-Bomb-A: A Dark Shadow Cast

Well, there they go again, another election cycle with another clan of politicians hiding behind deceitful disquisitions and false sentiments of hope extorting and debasing honest men and women of their entitlements to life and liberty like the king rattling his purse to shave off his coins of gold. Indeed, though every election cycle sweeps the flaccid and unenlightened in the troubled and disappointing winds of political reality, where their beloved darlings like LBJ, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, and now Barrack Obama rip off their masks to expose their scum covered scales, only a few really possess the humorous gall to actually profess themselves as “new messiahs.” Truly, no contemporary campaign professes this presumption more strongly – and thus deceitfully – than the Obama offensive, the perfect personification of the generation of disappointment (those born from 1980 to 2005).

Lifting up the balloons of the extortionate with his hot air of high hopes and low substance, Obama lets his rhetoric fly but backs it up with little but a cheesy smile and the same perversions one comes to expect from the pedophile riding up next to the schoolyard in a white van with the lure of lollipops and licorice as a means to target the young like a lion lurking in the fields as the antelope innocently graze. Singing the high praises of the pagan priests of politics, Obama tells his audiences, gathered in legions like hypnotized drones, that the system creeps on the verge of disaster and that he alone possesses the power to alter the boats of humanity towards the sunny islands of paradise leading the people to a “new kind of politics” like a Black Hawk or a Sitting Bull. As great as Obama builds himself up though, his actions and intentions will inevitably be exposed as much more similar to those of a John Chivington, the leader of the Sand Creek Massacre, than any man of honor or humanity like the virtuous chiefs of the oppressed Native Americans.

True enough though, the system of politics does linger towards the pit of the abyss, at least for the citizens choked off by the tentacles of leviathan; however, its wobbling instability does not represent so much a failure of the state or a quick deviation from the course of “American virtue,” so much as it represents the instable nature and purpose of all states in general, including the “holy” kingdom of the USA. Indeed, the nature of the state is, has been, and forever will be to expropriate as much tax dollars from the people as possible, using human beings as cows or living ATMs, with the amount of force equivalent to that of a slave master successfully driving his subjects to exhaustion and death. Certainly, the system does break the individual down, but not for the superficial surface issues of “corporate lobbyists” or business interests that the Obama offensive so keenly and contradictively points out. The system breaks the individual down for the same reason that a fish swims; for breaking the individual down entertains the entire purpose and nature of the state. Degradation, deprivation, and perversion of basic human virtues, nothing could better describe the effect of the state; nothing could better describe its true nature. As the great libertarian Murray N. Rothbard pointed out,

For centuries, the State (or more strictly, individuals acting in their roles as "members of the government") has cloaked its criminal activity in high-sounding rhetoric. For centuries the State has committed mass murder and called it "war"; then ennobled the mass slaughter that "war" involves. For centuries the State has enslaved people into its armed battalions and called it "conscription" in the "national service." For centuries the State has robbed people at bayonet point and called it "taxation." In fact, if you wish to know how libertarians regard the State and any of its acts, simply think of the State as a criminal band, and all the libertarian attitudes will logically fall into place, (46).[i]

So what of Obama’s speeches? What of his rhetoric? Oh, he speaks heavily with a sweet tongue and a white set of teeth, but beneath that coat of bleach still remain the fangs dripping with the blood of his victims all across the globe from the poor family in Chicago dealing with the bondage of demagogue crooks and mobsters demanding cash or death, to the fathers thrown in prison for feeding their children through the business of street pharmaceuticals introduced to them by the very system that condemns them for using the only means they possess for subsistence, to the murdered millions in the Middle East taken viciously for the American project of imperial expansion, and even to the human beings transferring their bodies and families across illegitimate borders only to be hand-cuffed, thrown into a car, and dropped back off in the desert to starve – of whom Obama wishes to harass to the point where he and his kind make “it as close to impossible as we can for illegal workers to find employment.”[ii] Indeed, Obama preaches change and hope, but it is clear to those that recognize the man’s true figure, the shill, the liar, the War mongering demagogue, as Justin Raimondo would put it,[iii] he is a soothsayer and a fraud. Preaching the message of change, Obama masquerades as the political Cher, a greasy, slimy, worthless thug in glamorous dress. Yes, Obama parades around like a Babylonian whore, singing the greatness of the United States, the largest gang of murderers today, and then fulfilling his cultic persona with the implications that he is the embodiment of murderers Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy, as though he were the American Osiris. As Glen Ford, the editor of the Black Agenda Report, a political magazine addressed to African-Americans in the African-American community, puts it,

Senator Barack Obama believes himself to be the reincarnation of President John F. Kennedy. For those of us who are schooled in history - real history - that's not a good thing… Barack Obama is as stupid and dangerous as Kennedy. Obama wants to invade Pakistan, the most dangerous place in the world, where Osama bin Ladin is holed up. The Pakistani regime installed the Taliban in Afghanistan, which became the incubator of Al Quaeda… Barack Obama reacts to the world's response to imperialism in precisely the same way as his white counterparts; he proposes more war.[iv]

Now, Ford’s accusations of war mongering are of course undeniable, indeed, what more does a politician do but agitate for war, whether it be war against the entrepreneur, the worker, or the foreigner? What makes Ford’s honest and accurate autopsy of this modern William Ellison, a black slave-owner from the 19^th century, comes from Obama’s own message and one of the main features of it – his supposed opposition to war. Indeed, if Obama’s actions and beliefs bind him to the same old decadence of the American empire that the people enslaved to the masters in Washington D.C. and every state capital allied with it detest, then what change does he really bring? Or have the rosy words lullabied the masses so far into a slumber that they just didn’t really care to ask about his beliefs and nature as a sleaze ball, mass murdering, American government Mafioso or whether or not he really does represent the change man searches for?

Exploiting an audience thirsty for the winds of change to sweep them into a new light away from the path forged for them by the failures and incompetence of their parents, Obama hoists his slimy, scaly body on the powder keg of the United States and calls it a throne. Like a deviant, Obama licks the ears of the youthfully naïve as they wait for penetration, but like all snake handlers and cultist priests Obama sets himself up only to disappoint, disenfranchise, and ultimately harm the psyches and souls of every child involved.

As disastrous as the Obama regime will be and as much destruction as he will bring to continue masking the façade of the United States aside, however, the Obama offensive needn’t be an entire catastrophe; for the seeds of beauty and life must always grow from the beds of decay. Indeed, for Agorists and libertarians alike, the Obama regime should be viewed as a chance to capitalize on the failures that he guarantees to deliver. For the inevitable consequences of a politician promising hope and change in the rotting marshes of nation-states always assure a grand disillusion for those that supported it. Of course, Obama will bring nothing but despair and woe, such promises the very essence of politics; even so, however, the promise of change, real change, can only come if enough people are turned so far away from politics that they no longer possess even the slightest notion that change can come through politics. With Obama crowning himself a god-king, a Quetzalcoatl for the new ages, the truth that he must reveal as a politician, the true blood of hate and war throbbing through his veins, will only poison the masses that drink willingly from his goblet of lies and false promises.

Like a virus in the central nervous system, the thought that change can come through a ballot or virtue can come through attempts at reform entraps the entire body of the enslaved populous to a paralysis of the soul. After the failure of Obama, however, the case can be made that if Agorists and libertarians find themselves able to educate people on why Obama had to fail and not just what failures he made, then the tides of social interaction may finally find a wind to shift the boats of humanity towards a brighter future of liberty, peace, and prosperity.

Until then, however, we must all brace ourselves for the Il Duce of America.
