Lionel Messi will head to the Olympics anyway. The Argentinean ace is to play in Beijing this August, despite the disagreement of the Barcelona. The Spanish club claims that Messi should prior his duties with the Barca and leave his national obligations in second place. Barcelona director Txiki Begiristain, “Our objective is to have all our players ready for pre season and that includes Messi.” However, Messi has stated, "I am going to the Olympic whatever may happen. "The truth is though that I do not know how we can resolve things, but there is no doubt that I will be there.In other news, fellow Argentinean player, Inter Captain Javier Zanetti ,eyes Messi as a possible addition to the club in the future.” Now it's hard for him to leave Barcelona, but in the future things could be different.
