Valentino Rossi predicts there will be a great battle in Italian GP at Mugello on Sunday after the top four riders spotted the top four places in Friday opening pratice.
Rossi, who's seeking his eighth consecutive Italian GP victory, was forced into second spot by Fiat Yamaha team-mate Jorge Lorenzo, with Casey Stoner claiming third spot ahead of triple 2009 podium finisher Spaniard Dani Pedrosa.
"Mugello is a great track for me and it doesn't matter if it comes after a bad race or a good one," said the reigning MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi, who finished 16th and last after slipping and getting penalty for speeding at pit lane last time out at Le Mans.
